Welcome to the registration page for LabPhon17, the biennial conference of the Association for Laboratory Phonology.
LabPhon17 will be held July 6-8, 2020 and will be hosted by the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC, Canada. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the meeting will be run as a virtual conference.
Anyone who is a member in good standing can register for the conference at any point before the end of the conference (July 8, 2020), and will be given access to the stored materials for viewing and the live Q&A sessions. Materials will be made available to registrants for viewing by June 22nd. Note that, as per usual, all presenters are expected to be members of the Association for Laboratory Phonology and to register for the conference.
To see what you can expect as a registered attendee of the conference, please go to https://labphon.org/labphon17/information-attendees.
Registration fees and deadlines
There is no registration fee for the virtual conference, but participation will still require membership that is current when the conference opens (i.e. July 6 2020). If you are not already a member, or if your membership expires before the conference, please go to the membership page to take out or renew your membership (https://labphon.org/content/membership).
Workshops
Workshops will be held on 5 July and on 9 July, as set out on https://labphon.org/labphon17/satellite-events. Registration for the workshops is separate from that for the conference and is being handled by the workshop organisers. There is no additional charge for workshop attendance.
