The Festival International de Jazz de Montréal will take place from June 26 to July 4, 2026, and accommodations are expected to book up quickly. If you plan to attend LabPhon 20, we recommend making your arrangements early. There are many hotels available in Montreal.  We will provide more information about suggested hotels on this page in December.

Hotel Options

McGill University's Official Hotel Program allows conference attendees to book a variety of hotels at discounted rates. To secure the discounted rate, you must use a booking code when booking your room. You can access the list of hotels with the associated booking codes here:  https://www.mcgill.ca/accommodations/mohp/downtown   Hotel10 is the closest to the conference venue, but any of the hotels in the Downtown list will be close.

We have also reserved a block of 30 rooms at Hotel Le Cantlie Suites (https://www.hotelcantlie.com/) with check in on June 24 and check out on June 28, 2026.  Rooms at this hotel can booked through this link:  https://reservations.travelclick.com/12608?groupID=5082307

For those interested in budget-conscious accommodations, we suggest booking through McGill's summer accommodations program, using the code "LabPhon 2026" for a discounted rate:  https://www.mcgill.ca/accommodations/summer

Please note that we are hoping to be able to offer free accommodations for student presenters who are first authors in these residences, depending on budget realities.  We will send more information after abstract acceptance notifications are sent.
